Welcome to MCDOLY.LK (the “Site”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), the online destination for our luxury fashion brand. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and services, including browsing, purchasing our exclusive clothing and accessories, and any related interactions (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or make any purchases.

We may update these Terms periodically. The revised version will be posted here with an updated “Last Updated” date. For significant changes, we may notify you via email or a notice on the Site. Your continued use after such changes constitutes acceptance.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Services or place orders. By using the Site, you confirm you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.

2. Accounts

Certain features and purchases may require creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for any violation of these Terms.

3. Products and Limited Production

MCDOLY.LK is a luxury fashion brand dedicated to exclusivity, craftsmanship, and intentional scarcity. Most of our designs are produced in very limited quantities, typically no more than 200 pieces per design (across all colorways and sizes combined). This limited production is a fundamental aspect of our brand identity and contributes to the rarity and desirability of each piece.

• Product images, descriptions, and specifications are provided for guidance. Due to the artisanal nature of our items, minor variations in color, texture, finish, or fit may occur and are considered normal.

• All products are subject to availability. Because of limited runs, many items sell out quickly and may not be restocked.

• We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit orders (even after confirmation) in cases of stock exhaustion, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or to protect the exclusivity of our collections.

4. Pricing and Orders

Prices are displayed in USD/LKR and exclude applicable taxes, import duties, customs fees, and shipping unless explicitly stated. Prices may change without notice, but confirmed orders will be honored at the price shown at checkout.

An order constitutes your offer to purchase. We accept it (and form a binding contract) only upon dispatch confirmation or shipment.

5. Payment

Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment providers. You authorize us to charge the selected method. All payments are final except as provided in our Return & Refund Policy.

6. Shipping and Delivery

We ship worldwide, subject to restrictions and availability at checkout. Shipping times, carriers, and costs vary by destination and are estimated only — they are not guaranteed.

• Risk of loss and title pass to you upon handover to the carrier.

• For international shipments: You are solely responsible for all import duties, taxes, customs clearance, and compliance with local import laws. We are not liable for customs delays, seizures, or additional charges.

7. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds

Due to the exclusive, limited-edition nature of our collections, our return policy is tailored to luxury standards while respecting applicable consumer laws.

• Limited-edition and final-sale items (most of our pieces, given limited production runs): These are typically final sale — no returns, exchanges, or refunds except in cases of proven defect, damage upon arrival, or incorrect item shipped. This is clearly indicated on the product page where applicable.

• Standard items (if any): Eligible for return/exchange within 7 days of receipt, Need to confirm via email, mobile or WhatsApp within 2 days after delivery. Provided the item is unworn, unwashed, with all original tags/labels attached, in perfect resale condition, and in original packaging.

• Returns must follow our Return Policy instructions (including obtaining a return authorization if required).

• Refunds (where permitted) are issued to the original payment method, excluding original shipping costs. Return shipping may be your responsibility unless the item is faulty.

We do not accept returns for change of mind on final-sale or limited-edition items unless required by mandatory local law.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including designs, photographs, text, logos, and trademarks — is owned by MCDOLY.LK or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any part without our prior written consent.

Our pieces feature original, protected designs. Unauthorized copying, counterfeiting, or reproduction will be pursued to the fullest extent of the law.

9. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with the Site, to post infringing/harmful content, or to attempt unauthorized access/scraping.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services and products are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all implied warranties.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant product.

This does not limit liability for fraud, death/personal injury caused by negligence, or rights under mandatory consumer protection laws.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Services, or violation of third-party rights.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Colombo, Sri Lanka, unless mandatory consumer laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.

For EU/EEA/UK consumers: These Terms do not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection regulations.

13. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or non-performance due to events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, government restrictions).

14. Miscellaneous

If any provision is unenforceable, the others remain in effect. These Terms (together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return Policy) form the entire agreement.
